The food is delicious. The BBQ comes with a bit fewer banchan than expected. The best dish here is probably the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles). Since this place is close to my home, I really enjoy coming here. Weekends are very busy,
Had the most flavour-packed lamb skewers I’ve ever had (I rarely take lamb but my cousin-in-law convinced me I must try). Their cheese tteokbokki was also next level — so gooey and addictive — & the beef bone broth + spicy pork soups were just the right kind of comfort food!
I absolutely love this Korean BBQ restaurant! The food is always amazing, and it’s so convenient because it’s close to home. The kimchi soup is especially delicious — so tasty and full of rich flavor. We also had the seafood pancake, which was so good we ended up ordering a second one! We tried the pork set as well, and the pork was beautifully seasoned and very fresh. The beef was also wonderfully seasoned aswell. Overall, everything we had was incredibly tasty. Highly recommend this place!
First timer here trying a new place. This restaurant is always busy. We booked in advance to ensure we got a table. The place is designed uniquely, the atmosphere feels like we were in Korea, I guess the noises from people drinking, talking and laughing so hard. So depending what you're after, it's not for a quiet dinner. The seating design made me feel having a personal space, which is a good thing. Food came quickly and presented nicely too. One thing was we had to ask our rice order twice. We ordered the blackbean noodle, sweet&sour pork and cheese Tteokbokki. Noodle was smooth and on the point taste, it's enjoyable. The sweet & sour pork tasted great too. The pork batter was on the chewy sides and the sauce was indeed thick. It's totally different from the swee n sour pork at Chinese restaurants. The Tteokbokki came in big hot pan. Was told not to move it with hand as it was very hot. I ordered with cheese which kept stretching unbelievably long to the point it became a bit annoying. I may ask for a scissor next time. However it was a yummy tteokbokki to share. It's big portion that I had to do a takeaway. The side dish we had was kimchi, marinated onion and pickled radish. We really enjoyed them, I like the onion best. The staff is polite and yea they're busy. I really was impressed with the guy at the counter, friendly, courteous and helpful. Just a reminder, I find the price is rather high. We will come back again to try different dishes.
It was our first time ordering other than barbecue and we really enjoyed the food. It was really tasty and the hot pot was very spicy, so beware if u are not used to hot food. Best kimchee I've ever tried
No cheesy corn or Korean fried corn dogs kind of place. If you like Korean bbq this place doesn’t do to a bad job at it. Their sweet and sour pork and their black bean noodle is what they are good at. Like how they got their self rotating lamb skewers that turn while it is cooking. Their seafood pancake is pretty average and their fried chicken is also not too bad. Like the condiments that come with their kbbq sets. All in all an enjoyable night and the good thing you don’t come home smelling like a charcoal fireplace after you eat here which is a plus in my book!!
I ordered kimchi stew on Uber Eats last night and specifically asked for no fresh red chilli, which they did follow. But while I was eating, it suddenly started getting really spicy That’s when I realised they’d added green chilli instead, and I’d already eaten some of it. I still enjoyed it because I love kimchi stew, even though my spice tolerance isn’t great. Just found it pretty funny. I couldn't finish it.
Updated: Visited November 2024 Visited again last night with friends, this time we ordered their cold naengchae jokbal (braised pork hock with salad & mustard dressing), it was soooo delicious! The spicy garlic fried chicken was great as well, and we all reckon they have the best ttaekboki love all the food. Worth every penny. Busy Korean restaurant at the Langford village, could see many Korean diners here, assuming the food are pretty authentic. It was a full house on Saturday's afternoon. Food are pretty good. Portions were huge. Although we can see that they don't have enough staff for their busy restaurant, their food served pretty quick, which was awesome! Will be back and try other food on the menu.
